Simple to Elegant Weddings

You may be planning a quick home wedding, something small in a local park, or be dreaming of a large wedding at a local hall. You and your fiance' may prefer a more traditional religious ceremony, a ceremony that combines elements of more than one tradition, or one that is completely secular. We have the skills, creativity, flexibility and desire to help you make it personal, and our fees are very reasonable.

Rev. Tim completed his Master of Divinity degree and was ordained in 1980. He is a full-time Board Certified Chaplain in a local hospital. He has been officiating at weddings for thirty-two years throughout the Greater Kansas City area, as well as within many other counties throughout eastern Kansas and western Missouri. His experience with many different denominations, religions and cultures enables him to be very flexible as he assists you in planning your wedding.

Rev. Melissa is an Ordained Minister with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), having completed her Master of Divinity degree at St. Paul School of Theology in June of 2012. Currently she is a Chaplain Resident at University of Kansas Medical Center. Melissa has accompanied her father, Tim, to countless weddings for 15 years and has been officiating weddings for about four years.
 
Both Rev. Tim and Rev. Melissa are members of an open and affirming church in Kansas City North. We also have several hand-selected clergy to whom we can refer you for those occasions when we are unavailable. Therefore, there is no need for you to spend any more time or energy looking for a wedding officiant who will work closely with you to create the wedding ceremony of your dreams.

We are located in Clay County on the northern edge of Kansas City. However, we continue to accept requests to travel throughout the KC Metro area and beyond. To date we have traveled as far north as Oregon, MO; as far west as Ft. Riley, KS; as far south as Spring Hill, KS; and as far east as Lexington, MO.
