Nice service,,,flexible with changes,,very helpful!

She was flexiable and everything went well, but she seemed a bit judgemental of some of our choices at times. At times she would make a non-stressing bride very stressed. I teared up during one point of the ceremony and she asked numerous times (too many times) if I would like her to stop, which I kept saying no. It got to the point my maid of honor had to tell her to continue on. It was great being able to personalize our ceremony and she was willing accomodate us.

Jo Ann was wonderful. During our meeting she brought up many different issues and questions that we hadn't thought about. She was very flexible about adding and subtracting things from her ceremony. It was slightly different from the sample one on her site. I liked the one she used a bit better. At the rehearsal she was just what we needed to get the rehearsal going, and moving along; my group would have been there all night. I was glad she knew what she was doing. We went over who was entering where, who was going to cue the musician, and who was going to cue me. It was a lovely ceremony.

We hired JoAnn to officiate our wedding because we wanted to have a non-religious ceremony and her script was just beautiful. We interviewed her in advance and didn't pick up on any negative attributes. However, we were dismayed at her lack of professionalism at our rehearsal and ceremony. At our rehearsal she was very bossy, insensitive to the event being a special occassion, and was almost vulgar. Almost everyone who attended the rehearsal later commented on how unprofessional she acted. The next day at our ceremony she read her script fine but seemed unprepared for how her actions were to function in correlation with other events, such as music timing and sound equipment. She failed to prepare adequately at the rehearsal and she did not remember the instructions we'd given her surrounding these details. In the end, we think visiting her website to view her ceremony script is worthwhile, but find someone else to present it.
