Our wedding and reception could not have happened without the experience and guidance of our wedding planner. Marilyn of Unique & Yours Wedding Services guided us through all the ins and outs of planning our wedding. Her experience and knowledge was unbelievable.We had our wedding and reception on a bad weather day in the area. We were without electricity for a period of time. She rounded up an abundance of pillar candles and holders, so that we would have light. She also found hand fans for each guest and provided bottled water for our guests. She was a miracle worker!We used Unique & Yours for our wedding planning, flowers (which were beautiful), design and decor for our reception, and our wonderful candy bar!!!!!!We would highly recommend that you contact her for your special event! On August 12, I married my best friend! The wedding and reception was just what we wanted. We were thankful that we hired Unique & Yours - Marilyn to help us in the planning of our special day. Everything was perfect. Marilyn made sure that what we desired happened. She made sure that all the vendors were there, and that our day went without any flaws! It was amazing. She knows about planning and coordinating!We were also glad that Unique & Yours offered several services that we were interested in - we used them for our flowers, reception decorations, table linens, and a candy dessert buffet instead of a cake - as we did not want one. Tyler and I were so lucky to find Marilyn! Our wedding venue shut down 4 months prior to our wedding date and I felt lost. I didn't know where to turn or how to even start everything over. Marilyn came to my rescue and her services, kindess, and generosity swept me off my feet. I was beside myself with all the planning involved conerning my wedding, rehearsal, caterers, venues, you name it! I decided to look into hiring a wedding planner. I wasn't sure if it would fit into my budget, and what it would entail. I researched several planners and found Unique & Yours Wedding Services. They were a blessing. On March 25, 2011 I celebrated 30 years of wedded bliss with my husband. Our family decided to hold us a renewal service and party. My daughter had contact Unique & Yours to help in the planning of this event.It was the best decision she could have made. We were able to enjoy the day with our family and friends and celebrate the love that the last 30 years has given to us all.We also used Unique & Yours for our flowers, reception decorations, and a wonderful Candy Buffet was the highlight of the event for the children in attendance. When I first started planning my wedding, I thought I could do it all while working and going to school. But it soon became more than I could handle. I thought about hiring a planner, but was afraid that it would cost too much.But after speaking with a friend, I realized that I had to do it, hire a planner. It seemed to fit right in with my needs and budget.Marilyn was a jewel to work with – she listened to what “I” wanted and made it happen. The vendors she recommended were awesome. July 18, 2010 (Wedding and Reception)It was such a blessing to have Marilyn of Unique & Yours Weddings helping us in the planning of our wedding and reception. I was so glad when we met with her and hired her on the spot. She was well worth the money. She helped us plan our July wedding in Missouri in four months. Her being from the Central Missouri area originally helped, she knew great vendors in the area, and was able to meet with us there on several occasions. The distance from her home in Liberty did not bother her; in fact she commented that it was good to come back to her home area to help us. Our wedding and reception were a simple outdoor event on my family’s farm.We had 145 guests. Her ideas for décor were amazing, and she was able to provide a lot of them. There I so much I could say about what she did for us. Her fees were very reasonable and she helped us to stay within our desired budget. I am a firm believer now that having a wedding planner is the best thing a bride can do for herself!Thank you Marilyn,Joni and Levi

Marilyn went above and beyond for us. We hired her to be a day of, and she wound up planning the whole thing. From dealing with my momzilla to renegotiating contracts, she did it all. My mother demanded so many things and she handled her with grace. Not only was she helpful and friendly, but she's become one of our friends and family. She provided us with aisle runners, cake cutting utensils, tablecloths, candles, plate chargers, and so much more. She even, in addition to doing all the set-up and dealing with the vendors, was running around serving drinks at the reception. The day after the wedding, she got up at 6:30 am to keep my mom from taking the cake leftovers with her! Without Marilyn, we could never have pulled this wedding off. She is the only reason we are now married. If you are on a budget or looking for someone who can pull off a wedding that is beautiful and flows without any problems (and with military precision), she is the person. We highly recommend her and love her!

I will be forever thankful at my decision to hire Unique & Yours for my wedding and reception. I was so nervous about the rehearsal and ceremony, and did not have anyone to help that knew how to make our complicated wedding take place. I called Marilyn with Unique & Yours and explained my situation. She agreed to meet with me and go over things. I need to add here that it was just one month from our wedding. I hired Unique & Yours as my rehearsal and day of coordinator, but then called her back to see if she could also help me with the reception. I was feeling a little uneasy about the venue coordinator. Marilyn agreed and made thing happen.My wedding and reception went so smooth after hiring her. I would highly recommend her and her business, AND would recommend all brides at least talk to a planner before making any decisions or plans. February 26, 2010 - our weddingWe used Unique & Yours Wedding Services after a friend recommended her to us! And we are glad she did. Marilyn and her assistant helped us in every step of our wedding and rehearsal. We had to do a lot of our planning long distance, over the phone and through emails. I told Marilyn what my dreams were for my wedding and she helped me fulfill it. She walked us through each step. She really knows her business and my dreams came true. She recommended vendors and lined up appointments and tastings.We decided on simple centerpieces for our reception and were able to get them through Marilyn. She is not only a wonderful planner, but a wonderful talented decorator and floral artist. She does it all!!!! January 2010 WeddingOur wedding could not have been as wonderful as it was without the help and guidance of Marilyn Buck of Unique & Yours. She walked us through each aspect, recommending vendors that were awesome, and reassuring us that it would be what we desired. Marilyn Buck is absolutely tops in the field of wedding planning! Our wedding was on August 8th, and back in May I was almost ready to cancel it because I started getting concerned that I couldn't get everything done in time due to a heavy schedule at work. Then I met Marilyn! She consulted with us and virtually took over all aspects of wedding planning. All we had to do was make the decisions on the vendors and other things she brought to us. She completely coordinated all activities and ensured all vendors knew where to be and that they were there on time. She took on all the challenges of last minute issues with ease and grace.
