I was married on May 5th 2012 at Studio B and Shining Stars provided our reception appetizers and dinner. I could NOT have been MORE pleased or happy with Shining Stars. If you are a bride out there looking for an amazing company to cater your wedding please use this fabulous people!! The food was amazing..I have had so many compliments that is was the BEST wedding food they have had. :-) We were married on Cinco De Mayo and so I had an interactive Taco Bar and lots of other yummies!! Deb and Jessica were ON it in communicating, they were clear on cost, and what was being provided. They were on time, gracious, and accommodating to all our needs/wants! Bottom line...they are awesome and you should call them !!!!

From the moment we met Deborah during the whirlwind of wedding planning, we knew that Shining Stars had to cater our wedding. From providing us with a personalized menu to fit our 'his & her favorites' theme, to going above and beyond in working with us while we were plannning our wedding from afar, their service was absolutely top-notch. On the day of the wedding the Shining Stars team effortlessly executed both our coctail reception and dinner. The food was phenomenal- our guest are still raving today! This staff truly cares about the bride and groom and they will do anything and everything possible to help bring your big day to life. This company is absolutely AMAZING! They were my best decision I made for my wedding and they made my day go off without a hitch. Deborah and her staff are so kind and went above and beyond for my event. For our first meeting, Deb came to the town where I live to meet with me and had endless ideas to help me create the food and atmosphere I envisioned for my wedding day. This group was so easy to get in contact with if I ever had questions and showed continued excitement for me as the months progressed to my wedding day. When my wedding venue was shut down, Deb and Julie swooped in and saved the day. They found me a new wedding venue within an hour of hearing the bad news and took the time to work with me over the next several weeks to make sure everything would be perfect. Their food is delicious and I received rave reviews from my guests on how tasty everything was! The food was homemade and well-prepared and the set-up was simply beautiful. I didn’t have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding and the crew took such good care of my husband and me, as well as our guests. I could write pages on the wonderfulness of this group of gals. These women are trustworthy and kind and you will feel as though these ladies are your friends, not just your caterer.

Deborah and her crew are simply amazing. The food is delicious, well-prepared and the cost value is tremendous. She even met me at my venue in order to determine the layout BEFORE I had booked her! Deborah loves to go above and beyond, which she showed when she ordered German bread rolls that she picked up herself from a source only she could find for my German fiancee and his parents. She also incorporated a recipe from a Utah vacation we had taken the previous year. It turned out fantastic, and I've had several people ask for copies of the recipe because it was so delicious. Deborah met with me any time I requested, cheerfully and quickly. She replied to me either by phone or email the same day any time I needed information. She clearly loves what she's doing, and is really talented. She will work with any budget and truly believes every bride should have great food at her wedding. Book her!! You will be in wonderful hands!

I went into this not knowing exactly what I wanted to serve at our wedding reception. Deb and Betsy guided me with sample menus that all sounded delicious, and the price was within my budget. On the day of the reception, I didn't have to lift a finger. Julie and the crew took over. The buffet looked georgeous and the food was great. I had many compliments on the food from our guests.

I'm not sure where to start on the great experience I had with Shining Stars Catering. I stumbled upon them from a recommendation and I'm so glad I did! Deb was the friendliest person to work with. As a bride, you tend to change your mind, your budget, your ideas and Deb was willing to work with them all without making me feel like I was being crazy, which is such a relief when you are trying to plan a wedding. When my catering budget needed to be cut by 25%, she had all sorts of ideas on how to do that while keeping it a beautiful event. She never made me feel embarrassed or guilty about it. She honestly cared about my wedding, it wasn't just another event in her books. She became a friend over the course of planning- and you will learn when you are trying to throw a wedding....you need all the friends you can get! And her serving team was awesome!

The food was amazing...no one could have done a better job. The staff is very friendly and they worked very fluidly together. I had tons of compliments on how great the food was and the setup was incredible. They really outdid themselves to make everything perfect. Everyone should use Shining Stars...they are amazing!!!

Shining Stars provided an excellent selection of varied menus and we were able to customize ours for my daughter's wedding. They worked with the coordinator and the venue very well in arranging the set up for all of the food stations. Entree selections were delicious! A great vendor!!
