Ashley did a fantastic job helping me coordinate the wedding from Korea- she was great at stepping in and filling the gaps on the things I had most trouble with (like calling other vendors during business hours) but letting me handle the things it was important for me to do personally. She wrangled rentals (even brokering a deal with the next day wedding to save us both money), gorgeous flowers, a dozen-odd kidlets participating in the wedding and an overall atmosphere that was to die for. The day of I found out we had a few major gaps- 24 extra guests who hadn't RSVPed among them, and Ashley solved every problem with grace and courtesy. I was so incredibly happy she was there to keep me from stressing out and I got to just sit back and enjoy a beautifully crafted day. Before our event I thought wedding planners/coordinators were really a luxury that nobody should spring for, but after even mid-sized event I can't disagree more- everyone should add this little cost to give you complete peace of mind on your special day. I couldn't recommend Red Door highly enough!

I hired Red Door Event & Design to provide event design and coordination services for the weekend of my wedding. Ashley Winters, with whom I worked, was very organized, knew exactly what questions to ask, and made sure to learn the names of everyone in the wedding party so she would be able to run the show the day of my wedding. I had two wedding ceremonies, and Ashely was instrumental to making the whole day and evening a success. She expertly coordinated the details of the ceremonies, the wedding party, and the reception venue. We also had a last-minute issue with the sound system for the cocktail hour at our reception, and Ashley called my DJ and worked out a plan with him so I would not have to worry about it while I was preparing for my big day. Thanks to Ashley and her staff, my wedding and reception were as close to perfect as they could be!

I unfortunately was extremely disappointed with our personal flowers by Red Door Event and Design. My bouquet was overpriced and not what I had asked for. All the corsages and bouts for our family and wedding party looked like they were thrown together at the last minute. They were small and lacking beauty.This company has very poor communication as well. They took weeks to return emails and phone calls.....on top of it they always made excuses for themselves.

I cannot fully express the happiness and enjoyment I had on my wedding day. This was all due to Ashley and Kelli at Red Door Event and Design. I live about 3 hours away from Lawrence so the communication had to be perfect in order for me to acheive the wedding I wanted and it absolutely was. Ashley and Kelli worked with me over the phone and via email as well as in person...they accomodated my schedule and my budget. The flowers were absolutely beautiful, the way they took charge at the wedding getting people where they needed to be was AMAZING! I was completely worry free and completely taken care of. I would use them again and again and again.....

I couldn't have been happier with the service I received from Red Door Event & Design. Ashley and Kelli were very prompt to respond to my inquiries, extremely organized, and they provided suggestions and guidance when I was feeling lost in my decision-making. I depended on their expertise for flowers and overall design, and their final product was absolutely gorgeous. I felt completely confident that the flowers and decor would run smoothly the day of my wedding, which they did. I would go back to Red Door Event & Design again, and I highly recommend their services to others.

Kelli and Ashley made my wedding day beautiful and relaxing for me. Their taste and talent and truly priceless and I'm sure without them I would have been a wreck and unable to enjoy my day. They designed the entire event to be gorgeous, and ran the day from top to bottom so I did not have to beg family and friends to take care of everything. I will be eternally thankful for their help and expertise!
