Paradise Pointe

We had a wonderful wedding and reception at Paradise Pointe Golf Course. We were allowed to take golf carts on the course for some photos before the ceremony. We also decided to bring in our own caterer and dj. Our only disappointment, that we didn't know until guests told us, is that there was no water out in pitchers. We had been told water would be available for the guests to get. However, that is a minor disappointment to a wonder event space and day.

Everyone at Paradise Pointe was GREAT to work with! The vendors that they use were FABULOUS! I would highly recommend this Paradise Pointe! They were very responsive! Easy to work with! I price shopped many facilities and they were the best bang for your buck!

the only thing we didn't like is that there was a 15% service fee on EVERYTHING which drove the cost way up keeping us from doing all we would have liked to do due to the money. And you had to use their catering (which was good tasting) or you had to pay an extra $500.

I received numerous compliments about the food. Everyone loved the quality, freshness, and the friendliness of the caterers. The DJ was not as well received. He really did not talk much or engage the crowd and he was abrupt with several people.

I highly recommend Paradise Pointe for any event. CaraSue was such a tremendous help to us in the planning of our wedding. I don't think I could've kept my sanity without her help! The room was the perfect size for our wedding and reception. The grounds were beautiful and made our wedding pictures absolutely perfect!! Everyone in attendance raved about the food, dj and the atmosphere. It is a great venue!

Paradise Pointe is an exceptional place for a wedding and reception! From the very beginning of our planning, CaraSue was great! She responded very quickly, was very helpful in all aspects and was a very kind person! Even down to the last few days before the wedding, when the weather was bad and we needed to move the ceremony indoors, she was very flexible. The caterer and the cake maker that they recommend were phenomenal! We were so very happy with the service that everyone on staff at Paradise Pointe provided! It made for our perfect wedding day! We would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to host an event. Great people to work with, wonderful location, and a great value! Who could ask for more! Paradise Pointe is absolutely wonderful. This reception hall takes care of the cake, DJ, bartenders, alcohol and the caterers! The food was wonderful and several options were provided to choose from. The cake is to die for!! I can't say enough about the cake, because it is the best wedding cake I have ever had. The DJ was excellent and really focused on the guests and what they wanted. He mixed up the music at the appropriate time so that every age group had a blast! The customer service was outstanding and everyone was very friendly. The golf course outside is beautiful and a wonderful place to take pictures. The view is beautiful, which includes a gorgeous pond to take pictures in front of. There is a large patio outside for the smokers too, which is always good! I can't say enough. This place was perfect!! Pure elegance and perfection at a very reasonable price. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else.

I highly recommend this venue!! Everything was perfect!! Everyone had the best time!! and the price was so reasonable and site is so gorgeous!! You don't pay for a wedding planner, just the venue itself, which has it's pros and cons. The owners were very easy to work with, and flexible with plans. The DJ they recommend was also defintely worth going with!! HE WAS AWESOME!! We had our dream wedding at Paradise Pointe!!

We couldn't have asked for a better venue. CaraSue and her Husband went above and beyond what we expected. She was always just a phone call away and helped with every question I had. Our wedding was wonderful!!! The event planner and other staff at Paradise Pointe were very helpful before the wedding day and the day of the wedding too!! The food and cake were fabulous!!! I recieved many compliments about the food choices and also about how beautiful the cake was and how good it tasted!! The part of the golf course that the gazebo sits on has a nice view of the lake and has some great places to take pictures from and around. There was also plenty of space for the amount of guest that we had, no one felt crowded or cramped. Thank you Paradise Pointe!!!

Having a wedding is expensive but paradise pointe is reasonable compared to a lot of places. There is plenty of room and a fun place to have a wedding. Everthing went according to plan. I would highly recommend having a wedding reception at Paradise Pointe

My husband and I highly recommend Paradise Pointe! Although neither of us are from the Smithville area, we primarily selected the site to host our reception at Paradise Pointe due to its central location for guests and the exceptional value offered for our budget. We were not disappointed in the least! CaraSue Hall, the event planner, has a genuine gift of making you feel completely at ease and stress-free! Throughout the entire planning process, she consistently maintained contact with us and was always available to field any questions/issues that we had. She communicated with us in a timely fashion, always flexible and went above and beyond to help with any issues that she could assist with. CaraSue ROCKS! :) Upon arriving at Paradise Pointe to add personal decorations to the reception hall, all tables and additional equipment was already set-up, as promised. As a result, our decorating crew was able to add our desired decorations in a timely manner. Likewise, upon the completion of the reception, we were able to simply take our centerpieces and additional decorations and end the evening, without any clean-up! After researching several reception venues, we found that such service can't be beat! Aside from the numerous service options and impeccable customer service provided, the landscape of the location offered fabulous opportunities for pictures!The quality of service that my husband and I experienced throughout the planning process continued on the night of our reception, as well! Both CaraSue and her husband, Eddie, extended such genuine service throughout the entire evening that our families and guests continue to rave about the evening weeks later! The catered food and DJ were both wonderful...we can't sing our praises loud enough! The evening went off without a hitch due to the planned organization and attention that was provided by CaraSue and Eddie. We HIGHLY recommend Paradise Point and their partnered vendors for anyone who is looking for an amazingly stress-free event! We can't speak highly enough! Paradise Pointe truly allows you to personalize your event and actively participate in the planning as much or as little you choose. CaraSue and Eddie are experienced professionals who make you feel that your event is as important to both of them as it is to you. I had a very good experience using Paradise Pointe Golf Course for both my ceremony and reception venue. They are flexible and go above and beyond to make your wedding go smoothly. What is great about using this place is that people just walk from ceremony to reception venue (about 200 feet away) so nobody gets lost along the way. The location is beautiful and easy to get to. I would definitely recommend them to other couples.

Cara Sue and her husband were amazing. They did every thing they could to accomodate us and make sure we were taken care of. I initially wanted to complain about the 15% service charge, but as the day/night unfolded, I realized there was no way I could. The service was top notch. They definitely helped relieve a lot of stress. Anything I needed, they made sure was taken care of. I was very pleased. Not to mention them cleaning up every thing after the reception so that all I had to do was collect all of the centerpieces and personal items. Very much appreciated after a long and tiring day!!!!The outside venue is a beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding. Makes for some great pictures!!!!The only thing I would recommend to them is if items are left -- like silk flowers, etc. that they would call you to see if you want them or if they should pitch them. We inadvertently left some very nice silk flowers on the Gazebo and we were not able to recover them.

Paradise Pointe was a nice facility with a beautiful setting. The staff was very helpful in all aspects of the planning. They also helped light candles etc. to make the atmosphere perfect. The cake was delicious and beautiful. We would highly recommend having an event there.

Paradise Pointe, hands down is the best reception site in Kansas city. The quality of service that my family and i received was outstanding. Cara Sue Hall was extremely flexible and made my reception absolutley perfect. The amount of attention, planning and work that Paradise Pointe places into there receptions makes them stand above the rest. As far as cost, Paradise Pointe is also extremely reasonable for all that they provide and do for your reception. All of the vendors that Paradise Point uses are the best in Kansas City, and should not go unnoticed, My cake, catered food and DJ were the best that Kansas City has. I would recommend Paradise Point and All there vendors to ANYONE and Everyone!!!. I am so pleased with the service that i received that i would be willing to share my experience with any bride that is considering this site as a potential reception hall.

I want to thank Carasue and Eddie for helping to make our wedding day so wonderful. We truely couldn't have done it without all of your help. Everyone in attendance had a wonderful time.
