Olive Events

Marisa and Nicole were absolutely wonderful to work with! My husband and I were planning our wedding from Georgia and only met with them once, but once was definitely enough. Their personalities drew us in right away. It just felt like a great fit for our wedding. When we did our taste testing, we fell in love with the food from the first bite. We had the task of fitting in about 8 different appointments in 2 days before flying home, and Marisa and Nicole were very flexible with their scheduling to accommodate us. I HIGHLY recommend them for any event!

I was recently married in July of 2011. We visited many caterers throughout the process of our search and I found Olive Events to be really friendly, easy to work with, and very flexible. I changed my mind several times on the menu and they were always willling to rework it and worked with me. They were quick in returning phone calls, questions or emails. They made the planning process really easy for me. The food was incredible and their service was excellent! I can't say enough good things about Marisa and Nicole. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is getting married!

olive events did an incredible job with our wedding reception cocktail hour and dinner. we hired our bartenders through them as well. we had a creative wedding, and asked olive to create a menu that matched our interests and tastes and they could not have come up with something more perfect. the food tasted so good and was just the right amount of creative thinking that we wanted. during cocktail hour, we had three appetizers passed. one was a paper cone filled with homemade potato chips and another was mini grilled cheese sandwiches with a small shot glass of tomato soup. those two items were such a hit at the wedding. our guests are still talking about them! and dinner was fabulous!! olive events was very helpful in our ever-changing ideas and our many questions. they were so patient with us and answered everything we ever asked in great detail. we would recommend olive events to anyone needing a professional, thoughtful and dependable caterer.

Olive Events was a wonderful caterer for my wedding day. One of the most important things for me was the food. After going to so many weddings that served the same bland chicken, green beans and potatoes, I knew that food was something I wouldn't compromise on. Lucky with Olive Events I didn't have too. AND with a my tight budget they were able to create an amazing menu that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Nicole, the coordinator, worked with me throughout my wedding planning and answered all of my hundreds of questions. Marisa, the chef and owner, was wonderful to work with. I am very picky about my food (my husband would say snob :)), but after going through a trial run of my menu with Marisa, I was blown away by the quality and freshness of the food. When she asked for any changes we wanted - no one could come up with one. Also, my venue didn't have a kitchen, making the menu even more of a challenge. But Olive Catering pulled it off. I would highly recommend working with Olive Catering, not only for their professionalism but for wonderful foods they create.

I really enjoyed working with Olive Events for my wedding, and the food and cupcakes received rave reviews from our guests all night long! They were incredibly accommodating with our dietary rescrictions (vegetarian and vegan), and knew exactly what to suggest after talking with us for just a short while. They seemed to really understand exactly what we were looking for. And to speak of their flexibility--when my cake vendor flaked, they stepped in and made delicious vegan cupcakes for us! The only downside that I can think of is that they seem to be very busy, so build in a few days when waiting for responses, and if you need one right away, be sure to follow up. Overall it was wonderful, classy, and delicious--get the spinach artichoke dip for sure!
