Very strongly do NOT recommend this place to anybody seeking to custom design their engagement ring. I had my fiance's ring custom made there and it was a horrible experience. If you think my 1 star is too harsh please read the following very carefully. 1) First of all, if you are a detail oriented person, working with the owner will be a nightmare, as in his own words "I do not like nit-pickers." After the ring was made, I thought part of the design was different from the actual drawings. When I went back to the store, the owner completely refused to help me and told me to take him to court, since I was being "unreasonable" for complaining about the 2 mm imperfection. You judge whether 2 mm is significant enough on a 12 - 15 mm wide ring. 2) The jeweler at Moshiri is a great guy and he will actually listen to you and takes great pride in his work. He made a very nice ring except for one big thing...the pave work was very poor. Unfortunately he does not have the skill for pave work. I showed the ring to another jeweler and he said that paves are very hard to make and only a few jewelers can make it right. The diamonds on the pave in my ring were scattered and were placed far apart. For pave settings, the diamonds have to be set close together. 3) Another big problem I faced at Moshiri was choosing the diamond. According to the owner, he was a former car sales man. And he is exactly like the stereotypical car salesman when it comes to selling you a diamond - so many broken promises and ambiguous statements. In the end I had to compromise greatly from the originally decided size (and had to pay extra) in order to get a good quality diamond. Of course, at this point I had already paid in full (that's their policy) and was stuck with whatever he offered. 4) In short, some more problems I faced were completely breaking the maximum budget by 27 % in order to satisfy the originally promised quality. They tell you the wax model is done as many times as needed to get the exact design, mine was done once even when a change was requested. Finally, I was completely disrespected by the owner, when I was persistent on the imperfections, he told me he can't help me since he's not a "psychotherapist". It was supposed to be a very special moment but instead was truly one of the worst experience of my life. I can't speak for their other custom jewelry but just by the way I was treated I would not recommend going to this store at all.
I did sign off on the final ring and the wax design. It was explained to me that the wax will be molded as many times as possible to match the design I wanted and this is exactly why I was completely surprised when they didn't make a new wax model when I pointed out a discrepancy from the drawing. However, Mr. Moshiri assured me the problem will be fixed before making the cast, and after this verbal agreement, I signed off on the wax design. Regarding the signature on the final product. Yes I did sign off on it, but what other choice did I have? I had already paid him in full upfront as required and was told nothing can be done to the final product. A few days later, I went back to Moshiri annoyed by the fact that my requested change on the wax wasn't done. The jeweler (the guy who made the ring) listened to my complaint and told me it can still be fixed and the risk is very minimal. They did not charge me to fix it (by the way - the cost of added gold and diamonds was 1.6% of the price of the ring) and I appreciate that, but Homi had promised me the problem would be fixed on the wax and therefore it was his responsibility. I would also like to mention, that even though the problem was fixed, the ring was still very very poor in its quality. I took the ring to a very reputable jewelry store in town and they agreed with me. They were able to make me a brand new ring at a very reasonable price. They made 3D computer images of the ring, and not pencil drawings like at Moshiri. I was able to make as many changes as I wanted to the 3D computer images and the final product came out exactly how I wanted it. After my terrible experience at Moshiri, the other store was able to completely make me happy by their professionalism and quality. BOTTOM LINE - my experience with MOSHIRI is that their CUSTOM PRODUCT IS EXTREMELY POOR and MOSHIRI IS THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL, DECEIVING, SALESMAN I ever had to deal with.

My then fiance went here on a recommendation. I guess he was in a rush to get the ring to propose but Homi (the owner) convinced him to slow down and talk about what all he wanted in a ring and asked all about me and my size etc and made suggestions. I ended up with a ring more beautiful than I could have imaginedf- stunning!!! Went back for our bands and of course, Homi suggested the perfect one right away. He really knows what he's doing!

Moshiri is a wonderful store. The staff is very helpful and if you give them and idea of what you want, they will suggest different rings in your price range. However, if you don't know what you want, they follow you around the store and watch you as you look at rings. They don't let you discuss with your partner in private about what you want. I don't know if they don't trust people, but they followed us everywhere. I felt like I couldn't talk to my fiancé about different rings. Aside from that, they were able to make a custom wedding ring to fit my fiancé's family engagement ring. It turned out to be simple and elegant, just like her. I would recommend their store, but just be sure to let them know you want to look around and maybe they will leave you alone.

Moshiri is an awesome jewelry store. My husband showed them what I was wanting and they designed a one of a kind engagement ring and wedding band for me, and I absolutely love it! They have their own jeweler in the store, so you can get pretty much anything that you want made. Their prices are pretty reasonable too. Very good customer service, everyone is really friendly. They also soldered my rings together for free and cleanings are free. I'm so glad we chose Moshiri as our jeweler!!

If you are looking for beautiful and unique jewelry, then check this place out! Their designs are very modern and fresh! We love our rings! I had my mother's diamond and they were able to put it in a tension setting for me. No other place could do it. We highly recommend this place!
