Mission Hy-Vee

I was recommended by this particular shop-and thank god i went there! All i can say is -you will be shocked and amazed for what you get and how cheap it will cost you. It will blow your mind when you see the quality work that she does. My husband and I were both so emotional when we saw her work. She takes her work very personally so that made me feel extra special. Thank you Sheryl again for the gorgeous and fabulous job!! We love you!

We got all of our food for during the day of the wedding there. We feed the wedding party and everyone that was helping breakfast and lunch. Our friends live right by the Hyvee in Mission. Its always super clean and the workers are so friendly.

We had Hy vee catering our wedding recently and they did an awesome job. Kim in the catering area was the one that stood out th most. She was very patient and caring to make sure we got exactly what we wanted by offering different things and that was especially great. The food was awesome. We had Beef Brisket, Marinated Chicken, Mediterranean Vegetables Oven roasted potatoes and our wedding cake.. Totally awesome all aroundAlso the catering servers were awesome. They was so fun and a benefit for us to have. I highly recommend them and I will use them any chance that might come in the future

Amazing! I was so nervous about having my flowers done by a grocery store rather than a "real florist." Dawn was very helpful. I met her with my mom after i decided that i couldn't afford a traditional wedding florist and have all the flowers i wanted. She helped me find the most beautiful winter flowers and was EXTREMELY knowledgeable. She even gave us advice for doing some flowers on our own, even if we weren't going to choose her. I absoutely loved my flowers. And the Hy-vee florists are REAL florists

I worked with Audrey from Hy-Vee florist. I had specific requirements for how I wanted the wedding and reception to look. Audrey met those requirements and went beyond! She was very easy to work with and extremely accessible when I needed to get a hold of her. She made a trial centerpiece 4 months before the wedding so I knew exactly what the centerpieces would like. The arrangements she made for the Alter and the aisle were breathtaking. Audrey and her team made two trips to move the big arrangements from the wedding hall to the reception hall. We received many compliments on our flowers from guest. One of my friends has already booked Audrey for her wedding next year.

I actually used the Hy-Vee in Olathe (119th and Ridgeview). I worked with Kathleen to get the most bang for my buck, so to speak. The money I saved on flowers helped me upgrade our honeymoon. I would recommend the floral dept at any Hy-vee (from past experiences) for any occasion, including a wedding. I had bouquets for myself and three bridesmaids, boutineers for 9 guys, corsages for 6 ladies, a spray for the main table and potted daisies for each table and my total was around $1000 - WOW!!

They where great to work with and fit into our budget perfectly! I would definitely use them again!

I always LOVE working with Melody Baty at Hy-Vee! Her work is beautiful, original and always comes with very friendly yet professional service! When I spoke to her and told her what flowers I wanted she created a design for me that far exceeded my expectations! A few days before the wedding it dawned on me that I did not arrange for a throw bouquet (even though I had already told Melody I was going to take care of it). When I called and told her what I had (or had not) done, she simply told me not to worry, She would take care of it. She did all of the flowers for the wedding party and also added the live flowers to my cake making is so beautiful! I will continue to use Melody for all of my floral needs!

My husband and I used Hy-Vee catering for our wedding cake. This was the easiest decision we made, considering the good reputation of the KC Hy-Vee's. The woman we worked with was extremely helpful and easy to work with. I already had an idea in mind for my cake...so I flipped through their books and found the closest picture to what I had in mind. Then, I explained what I wanted differently. It was like the woman was envisioning it with me, because she knew exactly what I wanted and how to order it. I didn't see the cake until it was time to cut it at the reception...WOW! It was beautiful and it tasted amazing! We got so many complements on the cake and people couldn't believe the affordable price. Can't wait to eat the last piece on our first anniversary!!

I loved working with Melody Baty at Hy-Vee. She came highly recommended and now I know why! She is the perfect balance of creativity, economy, friendliness, and professionalism. She responds to phone calls and emails immediately, is exceptionally reliable, yet calm --great if you're getting a little anxious! She listens to your ideas/visions/goals and then adds her professional guidance while providing you with many options and possibilities. She does not impose her opinions, but does lend sound advice of a veteran in the business. She is able create beauty at any budget and her pricing was wonderful! The staff was prompt, professional and creative. They seem to have wonderful teamwork, rapport, and communication among them. I have 2 sisters yet to be married and my whole family agrees Melody and Hy-Vee are our first choice for next time!
