I am beyond happy with the way our engagement photos turned out and cannot wait for Katie to shoot our wedding. We can't stop looking at them and have gotten tons of compliments from friends and family. The 3 of us had so much fun taking them, too. Katie is really fun and easy to get along with and yet, totally professional and an extremely skilled photographer. We felt completely at ease the whole time and were laughing much of the time that afternoon--and it shows in the photos. Few photographers get this and I am so glad we won't have to be hassled about ordering prints or posting engagement/wedding photos on Facebook. Anyone considering Katie for photography (while I cannot speak for wedding photography yet), I endorse her completely! We haven't made a ton of wedding decisions yet, but I know for sure that this one was dead on.

Katie provided a photo booth for my wedding and it was one of the most memorable parts of our day. I am so glad we decided to use Katie for the photo booth. Even though space was restricted at our venue, she worked with the venue staff to find the perfect spot for the booth. Everyone told us she was very fun to work with and the pictures we got are priceless. I crack up every time I flip through them. Unlike other photo booths, Katie was able to capture full body poses from our guests rather than just their heads, and that made such a difference. She was very professional with the set-up and take down and had the pictures posted the next day! We worked with a lot of great vendors for our wedding, but we are so glad we decided to work with Katie McGill Photography for the photo booth because it added a lot of fun, and it really made our wedding stand out in people's minds.

Katie was such a pleasure to meet and to have as my photographer. She was fun and silly but while still being professional. From the very first time I met her I knew I wanted her to be my photographer. She has reasonable prices and definitly gets the job done. I got my photos before she said I would and was SO IMPRESSED with the creativity and quality of the photos. She captured my day perfectly. I have heard so many horror stories about other photographers, but Katie was great from the beginning to the end! I would definitly recommend her to anyone, especially if you want to feel stress free, have AMAZING photos, and a great photographer who will work with you!

It was a PLEASURE working with Katie for our wedding and engagement photos. She was very creative and brought out the best in my husband and I. She captured such special moments during our wedding and was so efficient seeing as how we were married the day after Christmas in 2009 during the SNOW STORM in Kansas City!! My bridesmaids and I froze and posed as Katie ran through knee deep (maybe deeper) snow to get the shots as quickly and elegantly as she could so we wouldn't freeze for long! The shots came out beautifully and we couldn't be happier. She was so much fun for my husband and I, our wedding party, family and friends. She couldn't have done a more beautiful job. We are SO pleased and recommend her 100%!!

I am a wedding photographer myself, so when it came time to choose the person that would shoot my own wedding, the decision was a little terrifying. However, after attending the same school for our degrees and seeing the passion and talent Katie has in addition to her fun personality and energy, I knew the choice was simple. Katie not only traveled across several states for our wedding, but put the entire bridal party at ease. She shot traditional photos, but shot even more fun pictures that fit my husband's and my quirky sense of humor and fun style. We were both blown away by the amazing photographs she captured that day and were thrilled when we received the disc. I would hands-down recommend Katie to anyone looking for a caring photographer you feel comfortable with and unique, beautiful images.

Katie was the perfect photographer for our wedding. She was prompt, professional, and knew where to be and when. She was very accomodating during planning, as we were planning the wedding from out of town. On the day, she was there on time and had a plan in mind. The pictures are wonderful too! I just flip through them all the time. We could not have picked a better person to capture our day.

Katie was the photographer for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding and engagement photos. She worked with them to understand their personalities and she captured them in way it seemed that only someone who knows them personally could have! We were so pleased with Katies professionalism and her personal attention to all the little details. She thought of ways to make the photo taking session fun and creative, which showed in the final product. Beautiful finishing touches to the photos were the "icing on the cake". We are thrilled to have the memories of the day so completely captured in a way that makes us smile every time we browse through the photo album.
