I would (and have been!) tell anyone who will listen to work with Jason and Allison. Not only were they professional, reliable, easy to get along with (and fun!), they have allowed my husband and I to have amazingly beautiful memories of our wedding day. During a time that I was stressed and worried about a million little details, I never once worried about the photography aspect of my wedding day. It was a pleasure to have them be a part of our day and our decision to work with them was one that I would make again and again. From a financial point of view, my husband and I couldn't have been happier. Since we paid for the majority of our wedding, it was important for us to get the most "bang for our buck" and we truly feel like we got that. We were treated as well, and I believe substantially better, than any of our friends who paid considerably more for their extremely expensive photographer. Even though we put off doing our engagement pictures until a week before our July wedding, Jason was kind enough to fit us into his schedule and even commented on how happy he was to do it because it gave him a chance to get to know us a little bit more before our wedding day. This was during an extremely busy and hectic summer for their business and family and we never once felt like we were put on the back burner. After the wedding, our family and friends made comments about how wonderful our photographers were, and now as we are giving pictures out to people (because they give you the rights to the pictures!) I can't describe the wonderul words and comments we are hearing. I will always be so incredibly happy we chose Jason Domingues Photography.

I SO enjoyed working with Jason and Allison. Such a sweet couple, and so full of talent. They truly provide great photography. Crisp, clear, beautiful images. Allison was a very responsive contact via e-mail, and Jason truly made our engagement session vision a beautiful reality. I would recommend the Domingues' to anybody!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Jason Domingues Photography! I had an awesome experience with him. Our e-session was fun and relaxing. I had a blast at my wedding and he captured all of the moments. I would recommend him hands down.

I don't see how anyone could do better than Jason and Allison. Not only do they take beautiful pictures, but their demeanor on the day of the wedding acts as a stress reliever rather than an added chore for the day. We had a couple complications with the limo on the day of the wedding and it would have stressed me out if I didn't know that I had a capable photographer ready to create great shots no matter where we were. I will be recommending them to any person that I know who has an upcoming wedding, and I'm hoping to use them again myself if the chance presents itself.

Jason & Allison Domingues were wonderful to work with! My husband & I met with 3 other photographers & knew when we met the Jason & Allison that they were it. They are easy-going, creative, fun to have around, and so easy to work with. Jason & Chris spent the day with us & they were totally relaxed. We highly recommend them!

When we met Jason and Allison we really, really loved them. They’re our kind of people, which left us more excited about working with them than any other wedding vendor. Unfortunately, though, we had a couple of hiccups that left us down-in-the-dumps about the whole experience. Pros: Their service before and leading up to the wedding was phenomenal. They’re funny, kind, helpful, and genuinely nice people. The photos that we got back, especially the posed photos that we took before the wedding, were really wonderful and worth the investment. Also, if you look at his website/photo blog, you can see what he's capable of--taking the most gorgeous photos around. Cons: They forgot that Jason was supposed to shoot our rehearsal dinner instead of doing an engagement session, so he was out of town and we had to find a friend to do it at the last minute. We received VERY FEW photos of our reception. I don't think Jason stayed very long, which left us scrambling to get the late night, fun dance party photos from friends. We also had to get photos of family members and friends interacting from others. It took 3 months to see the photos, and another month to receive the disc. Many e-mails went unanswered post-wedding, and we eventually had to call to track them down. I feel like there are probably lots of explanations for the cons above, so I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt--but in the end we were left with an incomplete photo history of the day.

I've been meaning to write this review for some time however due to frustration looking back at my experience with Jason and Allison I thought I would be too harsh if I wrote this review right away. When we met Jason and Allison we were so excited to have Jason photograph our wedding because they seemed like the nicest, most down to Earth people who really understood what we were looking for in a photographer. Here was our experience: Allison responsivness to emails is either great or awful. At the time we were getting married she was a stay at home mom which is obviously a full time job, let alone trying to be Jason's assistant. Emails would go unanswered for a week (as a business person I expect emails returned within 24 hours...perhaps my expectations are too high). Eventually, my mom took over contacting Allison becauase I simply didn't have time to email and call because there was other wedding stuff to be accomplished. The day of our wedding I had hired Jason and a 2nd photographer he suggested so Jason could be with the girls and Chris could be with the guys. My husband and his groomsmen went to the church early to have their photos taken at the church...they went 2.5 hour early so there was plenty of time for photos. About 30 minutes before I walked down the aisle I learned the men had not had their photos taken and instead had been standing around waiting. When my mom asked Jason about this he said he wanted to take the photos himself. This was not agreed upon. I specifically requested the men have their photos done before so we didn't have to take time after the ceremony. Due to the photos not being taken before the wedding (as originally agreed upon) Jason had us leave our wedding reception for 30 minutes to take the pictures. The whole wedding party left the wedding reception for 30 minutes to get photos of just the bridal party (along photos of the guys). We paid for me to have photos taken a few weeks after the wedding (I believe these are called Unbridals?). Jason told me to contact them to have the photos taken. Unfortunately between the weather and Jason being booked on the weekends this didn't happen. I really wanted the photos to be taken in the Fall (since we got married in Oct.) which we missed (again due to weather and scheduling). I was ok with this because I knew we could try again the following Fall. I reached out to Jason to schedule and never heard from him. I also emailed Allison and asked her to schedule the session. I never heard from either of them. Honestly, at that point I was so fed up with their lack of repsonse that I didn't want Jason to take any photos of me. Basically I paid them $300 for no service. As I look back at our wedding photos I have NO pictures of my husband and me at the alter together (we had said this was very important to have in our meeting). If you think you will remember the photos you want taken, you will not...there is way too much going on to remember. That is why you hire a photographer. Although we are not totally traditional people I knew my mom and dad would want photos of us posed at the alter after the ceremony. We don't have one photo. Sadly, the photos I do have with my family at the church look yellow (it reminds me of my mom's wedding photos from 1973). I suppose this is some techique Jason used? I simply wanted classic church photos which was expressed during the meeting we had with them. I've taken a long time to think about this review as to not come across too harsh. Honestly I may have never taken time to write it except I was emailed recently by a bride who had seen our photos when she met with Jason about her wedding. She asked me my opinion and I told her I would never use them again. *Side note- she did not hire them as she told me I was the 2nd person she had heard bad things about them from*. I think he is talented however communication is a KEY part of hiring a photographer. They lack this key business skill. I wish I could say I'm the only person who has had this experience but I know two other people (one bride, one family photo session) that had more issues than we did. My biggest regret is that we didn't hire Wirken Photograhpy. FYI: My wedding was featured in Fall/Winter 2010 KC Weddings. Although Jason took the photos, the reason they picked my wedding is because my Event Planner made the Hilton President look amazing. Her creative ideas, attention to detail, and ability to turn a pretty room into a magical wedding reception was why the pictures look good in the magazine. I owe Kristin Bulter of Fabulous Fete all of my thanks.

Jason was wonderful to work with. We were part of an extrodinary collaboration experiment that went off beautifully in our opinion. Jason offered a wonderful personality and enthusiasm for his work that was very contagious. He listened to our personalities and learned about us as people and I think his work captured that. For us he did moving pictures. When he was taking the pictures I had no idea what he was doing, but I just saw on his blog one of the final products and it is Wonderful!!! We couldn't stop smiling and laughing at my mother-in-law and friends dancing at the reception. Great Job!! We can not wait to see more and definitely, definitely recommend Jason for any couple looking for a fun, down-to-earth, extremely talented photographer.

Jason and Allison were amazing to work with through the planning process and especially on our wedding day. They were very attentive and I felt like they were invested in our wedding, it's not just a job for them. My husband and I were on a budget so we were floored when we saw the quality of Jason's work and the prices. We had expected to pay at least double. Our pictures captured the feeling of the day and they are something my husband and I will always treasure. Wedding planning and the big day are filled with stress but our photographer and pictures were one thing I never had to worry about. Once my family and friends from Ohio saw our pictures they started plotting their next trip to KC to include sessions with Jason. Once you work with Jason and Allison you won't want anyone else to take pictures of your family.

A great vendor that seriously puts you at ease on your wedding day. He is a dream to work with and he makes you feel like he's just a friend taking a few pictures... so easy to work with and so comfortable. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Jason made our wedding day pictures a really fun and relaxing experience. With all the craziness around it is nice to have such a calming presence. The pictures we have seen have been terrific and we will continue to use Jason for family picures to come.

The photos were UNBELIEVABLE. Jason was fantastic. SO glad we went with him. As good as they look on the website- yours will look that amazing too. :) He's very creative and does an amazing job.

Jason is a fabulous photographer and a nice guy. His shots are a bit more artistic than run-of-the-mill wedding poses, but the main selling point for me was that he put me at ease and basically took pictures of us having fun, so everyone ended up looking beautiful. I tend to freeze up when I smile or pose for photos, and he has tricks to work around that and make everyone look natural and attractive. He was easy to work with and the results were amazing. I would recommend Jason to anyone looking for fun, pretty wedding photos, and particularly anyone who thinks he/she is not photogenic.

Jason with Domingues photography was such an amazing part of our wedding planning process. In the beginning of my planning process I hired a photographer on a whim, without researching, and our engagement photos came back and something was just missing, it wasn't my style and I knew I needed to switch. I discovered Jason through a friend at work and fell in love with his photography! It was exactly what I was looking for, just my style and so innovative. We re-shot our engagement session, and the pictures were breathtaking, more that I could ever ask for! Even my husband was enchanted by them! On our wedding day he was amazing, he took us to amazing venues that he somehow knew I would love, and all of my family and friends are obsessed with him and his pictures. I know we would of had a way different wedding experience had we stuck with our original photographer. I couldn't be happier with his services and amazing talent!:)

Jason & Allison. One shoots the photos, the other handles the books...both are sensational! Quality is unparalleled, service is exemplary, professionalism is prime, and value is tops! Jason was my sanity on our wedding day... I will forever be in debt to him for that!!

When my husband and I started planning our wedding, we knew a few things for sure...we wanted we wedding that reflected who we were as a couple, we wanted a great party with those we love, and we wanted a photographer that could capture both in his photography. We wanted to be able to look back at the pictures and feel like we were standing right there again -- having the best time with our friends and family as we say "I do." We wanted a photographer that was a part of the day, not just someone snapping pictures. Within minutes of meeting Jason, there was no question that he was our guy. Not only does his photography capture the essence of a moment, but you feel like he’s truly invested in the experience of your day. So many of our favorite memories from our wedding include Jason – he felt like an unofficial part of our wedding party. Two years later, not only do we have amazing pictures from our engagement and wedding, and an extremely cool album, but we still keep in touch with Jason…we couldn’t imagine anyone else capturing our major life milestones. We have and will continue to recommend Jason Domingues Photography to every wedding planning couple we know!

Jason is fantastic! He was so carefree and really helped calm my nerves before the ceremony. My bridesmaids and I had a great time hiking through Westport with him and my pictures couldn't have been more perfect. Jason knew that I was not the "traditional bride" and he brought that to life in our photos. I will never be able to redo my big day...and I'm glad that I have Jason's photos to help us relive our memories for a lifetime!

Jason was one of the best parts of my wedding day. From the moment he arrived he made me feel completely at ease. He is friendly and creative and very professional. He graciously dealt with family members eager to take their own pictures and throw out advice for how he should do his job! My thanks go to him for making it such a stress-free and enjoyable day. We are more than pleased with our photos and feel like he really captured the feel of our day. Receiving our negatives on a cd so we could print them ourselves is such a plus!
