Our wedding cake from Lynne was fantastic! I planned my wedding from out of town, and Lynne was extremely accommodating. She gave my mom a bunch of samples so that we could taste everything when we were in town, and she was very flexible about later meeting with us the one weekend in town we had available. Beyond that, her books were full of great ideas, and she was very open to doing different flavor combinations. For instance, we wanted a German chocolate cake layer, and she made the cake and special frosting from scratch!
Most importantly, the cake got rave reviews at our wedding. It looked beautiful and tasted great! Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful and delicious (especially the white) wedding cake. The groom's cake was great as well although I think there was a miscommunication because it was supposed to be in the shape of our college mascot but ended up just having the mascot drawn on top. It still looked great and nobody knew the difference. Lynne was great to work with although she didn't always respond quickly. There were a couple times I went to her shop during business hours to drop something off and she wasn't there. It was a little irritating to get there after having called and emailed and find out that she was out of the office. Anyway, I'm still very happy I chose Lynne. She arrived on time, made beautiful and delicious cakes, had a reasonable price and I would definitely recommend her.

Best cake with the best price. My husband and I are still getting rave reviews about our cake. People cannot stop saying how beautiful and DELICIOUS our cake was. If you want a great cake you need to go to Lynne with Icing on the Cake!

We worked with Lynne Mueller at Icing on the Cake, and would recommend her to anyone looking for great cake and a friendly person to work with. We knew we wanted something a little different for our wedding cake, and shopped around a couple of places where the bakers tried to talk us into going a more traditional route. Although Lynne has a gorgeous portfolio full of traditional cakes, she was totally happy to make our cake with the twist we were looking for. It's a pleasure to work with someone who's excited about the job, and Lynne was just that. The cake turned out lovely and delicious, too.

I would have to say that I was a little worried at first becasue Lynne's responsiveness wasn't as fast as I would've liked but when it became a couple of months close to the wedding I was greatly impressed. I would have to say that I think we had the most elegant and detailed wedding cake I have ever seen. We got the most compliments about the design of our cake and how moist it was. I would have to say that Lynne did an awesome job but I don't think it would have turned out without my husband's input with the design and for the florist at Michaels helping us pick out the flowers. But in the end I was overwhelmingly impressed with the way it turned out and would recommend her to anyone who wants their cake to be extra special!

Yum! Amazingly good cake. Lynne is very responsive and easy to work with. I wish I would have known in advance exactly what our cake would have looked like. It was pretty but it wasn't exactly what I had envisioned. I think her designs are pretty basic but that is made up for in her reasonable price, professionalism and delicious cakes.

I went to her b/c she does fake cakes but her heart was never in it. We wanted a fake cake b/c we were having cupcakes but my dad still wanted us to have the big cake. We ended up not doing it b/c we weren't comfortable she would do it right. We ended up having her make a small two layer cake for cutting. I was nothing special.

YUM! Her cakes are AMAZING! We'll see if our top tier even lasts a week! She didn't charge us for the top tier, so we can save it, and she even made two cake toppers, just in case! The cake was beautiful! When I did my taste test, I saved some of the cake and put it in the fridge/freezer, and it was still as moist/delicious as it was 2 weeks earlier!

Lynn was a pleasure to work with. I took in a picture of what I liked and ideas on what I wanted to change and she came up with the most beautiful cake for me. The cake was by far my favorite part of the reception! She is super easy to work with and will do most anything you want...except fondant!

Although our mothers may have endured tasteless cake that were no more than purely decorative items of the wedding reception, today it is not necessary for us to put up with an inedible cake. Lynne Mueller at Icing on the Cake provides cakes that are not only beautiful, but taste great! Her customer service was excellent as well. I was able to look at her photographs of the many cakes she has done and design a cake of my own that met my personal taste.
In addition to a four layer white wedding cake for 150 guests, I also ordered a smaller chocolate grooms cake. Both cakes were delicious and lovely to look at. When it comes to having cake to save for the anniversary, you might be warned that there may be little cake left after the guest are through with it. (And my mother said before that no one eats the cake--little did she know!) But Lynne Mueller has said that she will replace the cake top if it is not edible a year later. Great cake; great experience!

The cake looked great and the taste was fabulous according to all our guests. We went with white layers and chocolate layers. I find it hard to believe no one has reviewed Icing on the Cake previously although there is one review for Lynn Murrey. Her location is at 83rd and Metcalf.
We decided only a couple weeks before the wedding that we wanted a cake. Fortunately December isn't a busy time for weddings so she was able to make our cake. We met with her for about 45 minutes discussing what we wanted and looking at pictues of other cakes she has made to help decide our design. Then, after we signed the contract, she sent us home with cake to try! We lucked out with her and will use her again for other family weddings.
