Hawes Photography and Design impressed us from the moment we very first sat down with them. Their creative vision is present in every image. They were extremely easy to work with and take every step with a great deal of stride. There is not a situation they cannot handle. Their presentation of the final product shows acute attention to style and respect for the special occasion. There are no half-measures or short cuts with their design. Everything was absolutely gorgeous. Without any doubts, we would recommend Heather and Aaron to any couple. We cannot wait to work with them again for other important life events.

Aaron and Heather were totally awesome and really easy going. There was no pressure to do anything uncomfortable. They are easy to get along with and provide a lot of insight into what will work and what won't. They have a great artistic sense and provide feedback on your ideas...they even played along with our champagne fight idea! Aaron and Heather were simply the best and made our wedding day so easy and a lot less stressful than it could have been. We suggest you definitely book them!

My husband and I decided that the photography for our wedding was too important to compromise on the quality. So we went with Hawes Photography and we were blown away! Family and friends are still commenting on how amazing the pictures are and its been three months since our wedding. Aaron and Heather were so easy to work with and they really put us at ease. The photographs of the ceremony truly captured the emotion of the day and the photographs afterward were so relaxed and captured our personalities. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for laid back photographers who really know their stuff.

What can I say? Hawes was absolutely fantastic. Not only were the pictures absolutely phenomenal, but Aaron and Heather were there helping us along. I couldn't possibly be happier with our pictures. I had a cousin get married the week after I did... I'm not ashamed to say I took glee in hour much better our pictures turned out. Tip: Save yourself the trouble and book with Aaron. You'll love yourself for it 5 years from now.

Aaron and Heather are exceptional and we have nothing but positive things to say. Not only are they wonderful to work with and fun to be around, their talent is above and beyond anything we expected. We had the pleasure of taking them with us to Mexico for our destination wedding. From the moment they arrived at the resort they were "on" and the creativity began to shine. The day of the wedding was amazing and they were both their to capture every moment. Their dedication showed when Heather showed up not feeling well; she was such a trooper and never missed a beat. I appreciate her begin there throughout the process of getting ready and never missing a moment. Our Ceremony, photos after the wedding, and our trash the dress session the next day are all stunning. We also had them at our at home reception in Kansas City, and again they were nothing but out of this world amazing. Both are professional and very easy to work with. Throughout our long journey with them we have grown to appreciate their style, technique, and uniqueness. They are not going to take photos that look like your prom pictures; they capture the moments that are about you. Aaron and Heather are not your run of the mill photographers. They don't just take pictures they create art.

We booked Aaron and Heather from California for our St. Louis wedding. We loved their style, and after one phone conversation with them, we knew they would be perfect for us. They were super friendly and funny and were genuinely interested in getting a feel for our personalities and the kind of wedding we wanted. Heather even emailed me to see how the cross-country wedding planning was going. When we finally met them on our wedding day, we were so glad we'd picked Hawes Photography. I'm not usually super comfortable with having my picture taken, but somehow they made me feel relaxed. Elliott and I really enjoyed our pre-ceremony photo shoot, and every loves the images they captured of us and of the entire day. We could not be happier, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, especially if you're looking for a unique perspective to capture your wedding.

Wow! This was by far our favorite vendor that we worked with for our wedding. They were the first vendor we booked, and the best. My husband was a bit nervous about their prices when we first booked them, but by the time the wedding was over, he was telling everyone they were his favorite vendor. They were worth every penny we spent. They were always very flexible with us and very efficient in their communication. Their helpfulness in general wedding matters was very much appreciated, too. They helped us plan out our timeline for the reception, they shuttled us to our photo location when our limousine broke down, and Heather even showed me how to cut my cake when I looked up at her with a confused look in my eyes. We've been joking about them truly being a "full service photographer." We have not yet received our final images from them since the wedding was only 3 weeks ago, but we are 100% confident that they will be mind-blowing. We would highly recommend Hawes Photography to anyone (and keep in mind that they also do boudoir sessions and other specialty photo shoots...I couldn't afford it before the wedding, but will definitely think about it for our anniversary).

Heather and Aaron are amazing!! They are so easy to work with and not phased by anything (freezing temperatures at an outdoor wedding)!! The creativity and quality of their work is exceptional.

Very creative. Exactly what I wanted!

I had 3 months to plan my wedding (January 13th) and we wanted a "Financial Peace" budget that ensured we stay debt free after our celebration. Needless to say I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get a photographer. When I met with Aaron and his wife, they felt like people I'd want to have over for dinner, and that's what made me look at what they could offer. I knew I'd be comfortable having them in my circle on the special day, so then I took a risk looking at the cost. The Hawes were right up front with the pricing, and the value blew me away. Turned out they were the least expensive in town, and the photos on their site were the combination of traditional and journalistic photography that I wanted. There was no pressure to purchase what I couldn't afford! Hallelujah! It's been 9 months since the wedding and I still go back and peak at all of the pictures because I LOVE looking at them! P.S. My husband is camera shy and never turns out photogenic, but somehow, Aaron caught only his best sides and they're all frame-able! Thank you!

Aaron and Heather were wonderful! I have received many compliments on my wedding photographs. If you want very formal, classic, posed pictures at the front of your church then you will need to ask for them. Aaron shoots in a very artistic, creative manner. I am thrilled with my wedding pictures!
