Brady does an AMAZING job. His letter-press revives a lost art of printing with beautiful results. Our save-the-date cards, invitations, wedding programs, and thank-you notes were exquisite. They looked absolutely incredible. (Full disclosure: The bride, who is a professional designer at Hallmark, designed all the paper items with the help of fellow professional designers.)Hammerpress is not for everyone, however. First of all, it is expensive. Keep in mind that each single piece of paper is being printed with a giant, old-fashioned printing machine with typeface. This is not a mass-produced, automated process for pennies per item. Second, Brady is in much demand, his work is time-consuming, and Brady is kind of flakey. Hammerpress will be slow and a little erratic at times. So, plan WAY in advance. But if you want invitations, etc., that will impress everyone, and if you have the patience and the money, Hammerpress is top notch.
