The entire staff at Embassy Suites KCI made our reception one to remember. Nicole Buell was a god-send. She was able to orchestrate everything flawlessly, giving us a peace of mind that I didn't think was possible when planning a wedding. Every question or concern we had throughout the planning process was handled with a promptness that was surprising in the best way possible. The food was delicious. The accommodations were perfect. I am still receiving feedback from friends and family that we couldn't have chosen a better venue for them to stay and to have our reception. The way the hotel is set up is ideal for family and friends to mingle and get to know each other at meals and in passing. The reception venue itself looked absolutely beautiful, mostly on it's own accord. We added hardly any decorations at all. And, at the end of they night the staff cleaned up everything! I truly can't say thank you enough to the staff at Embassy Suites KCI for making our wedding experience effortless, elegant and fun!

We planned our reception at the Embassy Suites - KCI from 2 hours away and did most everything via email and phone conversations. Shilene, the catering manager and wedding coordinator was amazing. They exceeded our expectations with everything. Originally we booked the smaller room - which was beautiful, but when our guest list out-grew the room they were very flexible and worked with us to get us into the bigger ballroom the same date. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, and the people were amazing. They set up the room and it was beautiful. We had a winter/Christmas wedding and they even moved a hotel Christmas tree into the room for us. We could not have been happier with the way everything worked out.

We were very pleased that Shilene was on site and available to us the entire evening. Very flexible with our helpers and our requests. Much appreciated that she served cake without any extra expense.

I think there should be a packet that is handed out with more details regarding the actual room being rented. Some kind of organization kit to cut down on all the questions that I had to bother the staff with. The specific dimensions of the room, how many tables cover what area, the options regarding the room instead of just the specifics of the menu options. I would just create some kind of check list and reference area in the packet to make it easier on the planning.

We were very pleased with our reception at Embassy Suites. They were very helpful throughout the planning process and made the day quite special for all of us involved. The reception was beautiful and we were very happy with the choice of venue we made.

The services received from this venue blown me out of the water. As a bride I was extremely pleased, my every command was answered and any issue I had was solved within seconds. All the service received was the greatest, I truly enjoyed working with the wedding coordinator Ms. Shilene Allen. She was very personable and easy to work with, I never realized what wonderful service you could receive in the wedding service industry through a Hotel. If I could I would get married all over again with the services of Ms. Allen and Embassy Suites. Everything was almost perfect from the price to the exact look my husband and I dreamed for our wedding. Thank you for all your services Embassy Suites!!

I loved having my wedding here and if I had to do over I wouldn't change a thing. We got together several time and went over everything and if I had a question later on I just had to call and it was answered. The day of my wedding I just showed up and enjoyed my big day. Every staff member was nice to me and my husband as well as every guest. Everthing ran very smooth!!!

Shilene was wonderful. She was throughful, knowledgeable, very responsive and friendly.

Shilene, along with the rest of the staff, was extremely helpful from day one. She was always prompt in answering my questions, as well as setting up meeting times with vendors. Overall, she played a big part in making my day a memorable success.
