Deanna Valizan Makeup Artist

When I first met with Deanna for a consultation, she was right in the thick of planning her own wedding, but you would never know it! She was very friendly and down-to-earth, so I felt comfortable with her almost immediately; on the flip side, she was also completely organized, professional and ready to get down to business. Thereafter, she was vigilant with communication and always remembered the little details without any prompting from me. I was very impressed. When I found out that her own wedding was just a couple weeks away, I was in awe! I even made a mental note to try to emulate her when my own wedding (and imminent nerves) drew nearer. The day of the wedding, Deanna showed up early and with a bulky cast on her left arm! She had broken her wrist when a large wooden door attacked her about a week earlier; but darned if she wasn't there at my home anyway! Her left hand (from what I could tell at the trial) is what she uses as her canvas when mixing colors, to steady herself (or her client), alter and fix the makeup as she goes, etc. Lucky for me, Deanna is a master of adaptation! She not only finished with time to spare, but she did an absolutely BEAUTIFUL job!! I felt like a princess =) The makeup held up all night long, and when I woke up in the morning I still looked like a million bucks. I was the prettiest girl in jeans and a hoodie at the airport that next morning! lol I absolutely recommend Deanna. She will not let you down.

Deanna was great! What I liked best about her was that she got back to me right away and was very flexible in setting up a time to meet. In addition, she listened to what I wanted and made it very clear that she wanted me to be happy with her service. She came to ME on my wedding day which made my day all that much better because I was able to relax and enjoy. She's wonderful and I highly recommend her!

I absolutely LOVED the makeup that Aisha did for my wedding!! At our makeup trial, she listened to what I wanted, and came up with a natural and beautiful look - just what I wanted. She also did the makeup for my mom and one of my bridesmaids, and they both absolutely loved how they looked. She arrived on time on the wedding day, and she was definitely a calming presence in the room for all of us! My pictures turned out beautifully. I highly recommend her, and I hope I get a chance to use her services again in the future!
