Angela was wonderful to work with. I was so stressed about picking out the perfect songs for our ceremony and reception but she made sure to help me. She offered to meet and sit down so I could hear a selection of music to pick from and she had so many great suggestions. When she arrived at the venue she even added some extra lighting to really make the room stand out for the ceremony. The ceremony was perfect. The reception music kept me and my guests on the dance floor all night!! I would recommend this DJ service to anyone who is looking to make thier event memorable for themselves and thier guests. I look forward to be able to work with her again!!!

I'm tellin' you guys... BerryGood couldn't have been ANY better at our wedding. He knows what to expect, he knows what things are important, he knows how to be a team leader. Alan made sure that everyone and everything was in the right place at the right time. Photographers, videographers, hotel catering captains, food, cake, EVERYTHING. Every little detail about your reception, BerryGood has got it in mind, plus a step ahead of you. They know what things go well with crowds and how to avoid those weird quiet moments when people don't know what is going to happen next. Very professional, super easy going and nice. Alan and Angela were the best service, by far, that we hired for our wedding. Not only did they proactively figure out everything that needed to be done, they went WAY above and beyond during and after the ceremony & reception to make sure everything was perfect.From providing the venue lighting (uplighting was AWESOME, by the way), the DJ and entertaining services, they also did a fireworks show that was really, really impressive. We continue to get great comments about the fireworks and what a great addition it was to our party.I'm not usually one to get on these sites and review vendors or services, but I was blown away by everything else they did, in addition to being great DJs, entertainers and hosts of the whole event. They helped set up the reception venue, they kept the entire reception & dinner organized (sending tables to the buffet line, making sure we (bride and groom) were fed during times of stress :), playing great music, fun games, and kept the dance floor going!).I can't say enough good things about what Berry Good Light and Sound did for us. There was never a moment that they thought or said "that's not our job"...they did EVERYTHING to make the evening go well. There were just a couple of songs from the "do not play list" that were played. Other than that you guys were absolutely awesome!!! I have seen so many DJs try and take over a reception and talk way too much! Both of you were very professional and efficient and played exactly what we asked when we asked! Thanks guys for helping make the night so awesome!This is my brother Jesse's personal review as well:I recently served as best man in a wedding that featured BerryGood Light and Sound. This group was one the best DJ's I have ever seen. We have all seen DJ's that ruin weddings or possess a strong ego or try to "steal the show" if you will. Somehow, they managed to put up with all of us, play what was actually requested, maintain a sense of humor, and be professional. Never once did they try to make themselves the center of attention as most DJ's do. They did not interrupt or talk incessantly. They were organized and courteous and accommodating. They were simply amazing and it was so refreshing to see. I absolutely recommend them for your wedding. They are wonderful to work with and make certain you do NOT have to worry about the the music!

This team was awesome Alan and Angela went way above what we could have ever expected from our DJ on our wedding day. They kept the party going from start to finish. They didn't miss a beat. My husband and I so loved working with them. Even though we were setting up our wedding long distance Angela kept in touch every step of the way and had such wonderful suggestions to keep the reception going strong. Alan went to great lengths to make everything we wanted happen with the vows and then took it to another level to match the lighting with my wedding colors. It was truly awesome!! We couldnt have asked for anyone better to dj our wedding. They were awesome. So easy to work with and stay in contact with. They played a variety of songs that everyone knew and enjoyed. The set up of their lights blew everyone's mind! We loved working with them and definitely recommend them to any and everyone!

Alan DJ'd my wedding and did a great job. He read the crowd well and played the type of music we were looking for. The dance floor was always packed. When he happened to play a song I wasn't wild about, I asked him to transition into something else and he did so immediately. He had suggestions throughout the night based on what the crowd was responding to, most of which were right on the money. It was a little hard finding a time to meet up with him; he was a little late to our meeting but called ahead of time to let us know. I'd recommend him to a friend.

Awesome! After our first meeting, I felt like I had know him my whole life. Very funny, personable and down to earth. It was obvious that he was genuinely concerned with making our special day unforgettable. The photo montage made everyone cry and the whole ambiance he created was perfect. Would definitely recommend his work to anyone!

BerryGood Light and Sound did a terrific job of putting together the slide show, of coordinating the reception events, getting/playing the music, setting the fun mood that my daughter and son-in-law wanted. And the fireworks were awesome! We enjoyed working with Alan and Angela. Alan DJ'd our event and contributed greatly to making it a most memorable evening. He even added a fun surprise that we all enjoyed. I highly recommend this team!

So 11 days before my wedding I find myself with out a DJ! It was the most stressful part of planning the entire wedding. I found BerryGood through wedding wire and sent them a request immediately. Angela called me with in a matter of an hour to see what they could do to help. They were open for our date and came all the way to downtown KCMO to meet with my bridesmaid and I. The meeting went great both Alan and Angela were easy to talk to and had such great suggestions. The wedding reception went off without a hitch. Alan was the DJ, and I was shocked to see as many people on the dance floor as we had. Both my grandmas were even hitting up the dance floor and having a ball. My favorite part of the night was the last dance. We had picked Edwin McCain's I'll Be. Alan had everyone circle around the dance floor while my husband and I danced our last song for the night. Near the middle of the song Alan had everyone move in and circle around us even closer, we could both feel the love from everyone at that moment. The shoe game was also a huge hit with everyone. Thank you Alan and Angela for helping us out of a bind and making our wedding so memorable.

Unbelievable! You will never find a better DJ! From day one Alan and Angela were amazing! They acted as if we were their best friends! Alan blew our guests away! He got the crowd pumped up and kept the party going till two in the morning!!!! And the fireworks......Better than Royals stadium and any professional show I've ever seen! They did more than we could've ever asked! And their slide show even had our videographer in awe! The quality and perfection was out of this world! I can't say enough in words about how awesome they are! Truly genuine people! I couldn't even imagine a event with the two of them! We are both still in awe! We will be booking them for a party in the future! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Alan and Angela are wonderful and experienced professionals. They were the only dj we met with and knew Alan was exactly what we were looking for. They provided the music for the ceremony and reception. Alan was the consummate professional and kept the crowd on the dance floor all night. Angela created the video for us and we loved it. The accompanying music was perfect and had several family members crying tears of joy at the memories. Alan acted as the MC for the evening and kept things running smoothly so we had nothing to worry about it. He even did a game with us, using his and her shoes, where the bride and groom answer questions on how well they know one another. It was a blast and provided lots of laughs. Guests were asking for their card and saying what a good time they had. Couldn’t be any better compliment than that!!!!!! We loved having Alan as our dj and would recommend him to anyone looking for that special dj that goes above and beyond to provide a flawless and wonderful event.

Alan did an excellent job at our wedding. I threw a last minute change at him when I found out my brothers planned a surprise video and he was very accommodating. The songs played were great and there was constant dancing on the dance floor. I was also impressed with his attentiveness to me (bringing me drinks, etc.) I highly recommend BerryGood Light & Sound. And I also highly recommend doing the shoe game - it was so fun and such a hit!!

Angela & Alan are great people. Angela recently put together a photo montage for my Aunt's funeral, and did an excellent job. We had so many compliments on the video. Angela & Alan both DJ'ed my daughters wedding in Aug 2011 and also were amazing! They sure know how to keep the party going. They are wonderful at helping with anything you need at your wedding. Who needs wedding planners when you have Angela & Alan. They are both a lot of fun, so give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I were so happy with our experience with BerryGood Light and Sound from beginning to end. Alan and Angela are the best! They were one of our favorite vendors. He was extremely professional and had everything timed perfectly with the announcements and special dances. He brings great quality equipment that helps with the reception, he does it all. Our guests commented on how professional Alan was and how he had the whole party going the entire night. We also had Angela do our photo montage and it was amazing. We got so many compliments on it and they even provided us with multiply copies to hand out to our family and friends-which we loved! My husband still loves to watch it.
