American Legion Post 14

The American Legion Post #14 in Lawrence, KS was absolutely ideal for our wedding. Their lounge and dining room gave us plenty of comfortable (leather and solid wood chairs!) seating, a space to dance, a fantastic bar, an opportunity to bring in our own champagne and food vendors, and they were incredibly kind and good-hearted to boot. I had several email and phone conversations with worried-bride-brain, but the post-commander was kind, gentle, and unflaggingly flexible as my mind changed, or as I needed reassurances about space, equipment, etc. The value was fantastic - for 8 hours of the room, full use of the kitchen, a keg of premium beer, and full coffee/tea/soda prepaid service for guests? under $800. I cannot endorse or recommend them enough -they were absolutely wonderful and we had a beautiful space.
