As a mother daughter duo we have spent years tablescaping events for functions for family and friends -- birthday parties, wedding showers, elegant New Year's Eve dinners, baby showers, and weddings. In addition to tablescaping, friends and family have employed us to help decorate their homes.
Tablescape Divas is a title given to us by our family members based upon our talents in tablescaping. It was based upon such people that we decided to make our artistry widely available, turning our hobby into a business.
My passion for design and decorating began by creating house plans for my family's construction company. As a designer I enjoy nothing more than watching my creations come to life. I have a very visual mind, a mind that I have passed down to my daughter, who is now a certified interior decorator.
Throughout our website you will see a teal ribbon. That is because with every subscriber we have, there will be a donation given to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. During the making of this website, I was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer that is hard to detect, as with all types of ovarian cancer. The donation will go to help researchers find better treatments, cures, and earlier detection. I am one of the lucky ones; my cancer was found early enough that I did not have to undergo any treatment, and this research fund hopefully will help do the same for every other woman.
